Default Cleaning a minger request!

Okay not a snake or a tub

We're moving hopefully soon (purchase going through hopefully asap!)
However terrifyingly the house has had a distinct lack of love and is needing a heck of a lot of clearing and cleaning.

It also is a house where there are snakes!

I had a good look at the snakes and couldnt see any mites etc they look in pretty good nick and are a ripe old corn snake age as far as I can tell (massive things!)

Trouble is I'm quite paranoid about moving the snakes in to somewhere that has had a long time history of lack of hygeine.

Now were overlapping this place with the move so we can clear steam clean and purge the place but is there anything else you would do specifically in the room that the snakes would be moving into (sadly it doesnt have a garage so we're going to have to build something....so in the interrim they get a spare room!)

Anyone got anything they would do as an absolute before moving their collection in?

I did ponder F10 bombing the whole house tbh!

Why not contact a pest control and tell them what your worried about as they mite be able to do the hole house with stuff that is stronger than you can buy of the shelf. Hope it goes well for you Kev

Hmmm a fleabomb? Didnt think of that. Would that catch mites if there were any?

Not so keen on getting pest control in with the massive hit of chems would it be okay for the snakes?

but it might be the way to go if all else fails.

I don't have a clue if you phone them and tell them your going to put snakes in after I'm sure they will say if it is safe or not to put them back in the room

Hang a couple of these in your rooms, it'll do the business..

(not 100% positive link was working, if not copy & paste)..
