Default My two rankins meet for the first time

Hello guys, hope every 1 is good and enjoying this hot weather :2thumb: well I had a rankins whitch has been sexed as female, so I finaly wen and go myself a male, also built ther new viv, havnt completed it yet but good for them, thought I'd introduce them into it at the same time, and they seem to love it, and each other :flrt:So heres some pics
Put the new guy in

Then my original the opisit end

They come together near on instant lol

They look great, some healthy dragons there. but why are you not using a substrate?

Cheers mate. I have some repti carpet orderd so just waiting for it to get hear, and I realy don't like particulate sub as very parinoid about impaction

ah ok, I find that they slip around too much without substrate. I kept Rankins Dragons on sand for ages without problems. Same with Beardies. The whole impaction thing is all really OTT to be honest.

Yeh they slip around a bit bless them, should be hear this week anyways

They're lovely little dragons and very steady. As a keeper of earless they still seem big to me though!

So cute they look like happy dragons!
I keep my beardie on the carpet stuff too for the same reason. My friends beardie got impacted and had to be operated on which cost alot of money! It would probably never happen but i would rather be safe.
He seems quite happy on it though so I imagine the rankins will be happy too.
