Just a few handling photos of my male Madu retic, he's about 6 foot long I think and very much darker in colour than my female. Both are Long term captives, and may be ready to breed by this coming winter I hope.

he's gorgeous!!! I need to get some updated pics of my little pair up. Any idea how old he is? Mine are the opposite, the male is often much lighter in colour than the female but that all seems to depend on if they are hungry or not

Yeah, he is aint he (I'm not though!). He eats a small rat every week though other than when in shed. The lump it leaves looks too big to me, but still he is slender. He is also shedding quite regularly so he is doing some growing.

Are these types naturally slim? In my head I would have thought a retic that long would be a lot thicker.Or are you controlling it's size to some extent.

No, I feed them a small rat once a week and they shed regularly.
