Default Not eating

Hi,
Just like to say that you should not worry if your snake is not eating.
My Mack has had 2 rats in the last year
Yesterday he ate 2 rats in one day......and also tagged me.
I know he was in feeding mode so no big deal although I did bled like a pig and when his fangs reached my finger bone...it hurt.
He is still looking for food food so don't worry.....when it comes time, your snake will eat.
The main thing to look for is loss of wieght.....which I never saw on this serpent.
I know everyone says "don't worry" but that is for a reason.......they will eat when they are ready if conditons are right.
Here is the skinny 8 footer in better days...around the Mrs. who loves him......her turn next
Paul

Yep as you say they will eat when they are ready, so long as the set up is correct.

Good post and even better pic lol.

I'd agree with what you said, no weight loss means nothing to worry about, some people do panic more than necessary. I've had a royal go over 9 months without eating a single bean, but once he took his first feed after that fast he was back to his normal piglike self and everything was fair game again, including me...
