So hard to get decent fruitflies nower days,always full of mites,buy a box of adult crickets(one with lots of females in) and get breeding

FRuitflies are like golddust these days - nightmare when the rudis is still not chuffed with micros, yet eats dozens of FF per day!

Hi Graeme,

I wasn't in work yesterday but i am pretty sure we have 2 boxes of micro crickets there, i am in today and will have a look. We do have fruitfly boxes too but last time i looked they hadn't begun to start hatching out flies...although i have a box at home which is just beginning to.

I got told once that if they don't emerge from the sacks just drop them from about a foot away onto a fairly solid surface...sounds bad but its the shock they need to wake them up and make them burst through. It's probably too late now but just a thought.
