ADODB.Command error '800a0d5d'

Application uses a value of the wrong type for the current operation.

/users/placead.asp, line 131

get this every time i try to post on there

any ideas guys ?

you using Internet Explorer or FireFox?

have you posted past your max test limited?
are you trying to attach photos?

anything else different to normal?

I am currently using firefox Scott

i did try to delete an old add and it wouldnt let me delete that either ?

not my latest add ? i have another to put on there but get that error every time

i will try it again shortly

I have one current add on there and one old one from 27th may i tried to delete ? no joy deleting it

and i still get the error message .no forums mentioned
and i am not trying to upload pictures?

Right, deleting adverts is now NOT possible, you can press the delete request and it will allow you to email a moderator so you can ask for you ad to be deleted.

You can EDIT your advert for up to 15 minutes after posting them.

I'll look into the problem a bit more :wink:

Steve can you post the full text you are trying to add to the classifieds so I can see where your error is occurring.

This error is related to you using the wrong type of text in a field or submitting text that is too long.

Rtaher than saying they just dont work how about actually posting what happens and what you are inputting.

The classifieds do work perfectly but their are some users who are experiencing issues and those issues only happen to them! :P
