Thomas, the history of some of my lacies is a little hazy. I have some that were bred in captivity by monitor breeders here in Sydney, but others were originally wildcaught. For example, I have two that were ex-display animals from wildlife parks (and originally wildcaught), another that was a confiscated specimen, and was obtained by another keeper through a ballot by our wildlife service here in NSW, Aust, and then sold to me several years later. Etc etc. These specimens had been in other collections long before coming into mine, and I have acquired all of them legally.
