Hi all

Has anyone ever had to introduce large monitors? I'm looking to pair a few of my monitors up but dont want to cause harm to either rep, I know that there maybe some hairy moments so would rather wait until I'm fully convinced that I am ready to control any situation should it occur, both are fairly mild mannered but some kind of conflict between the newbies must be a dot on the cards surely? so any information on the subject would be highly appreciated.

The monitors in question are

A 5ft female Nile who has just laid a clutch of over 30 eggs (her 3rd clutch at present) so on the look out for a similar sized male.

A 4 1/2ft female black throat (not laid any clutches) so again looking for a similar sized male.

The Blackthroats when introducing them seems to go very well and i myself have never had any problems at all.

The nile's can be a tad more tricky , use a few drain pipes of appropriate diameter so the female has access to an escape/hide place without the male being able to mount/dominate her to much.
