Thought i would up-date the pictures of them

First up is the Adult male as he was on the first day i aquired him.

Absolute beautys MM. Powerful looking legs on those guys and that last pic is awesome.

Mertens have always been a favourite of mine. I just have 1 at the moment. They look like very healthy animals. Here is a young one just to show you how small they are when they hatch.

They are gorgeous as hatchlings as well , your in the right country to pair it up anyhow

Cheers the male douse look quite powerfull but they are a fantastic species , very gracefull when in the water and quick!!
