They would accept that Lynne, It's under the classification of a guard dog for some strange reason.

My GSD barks as soon as she hears anyone near the front or back of the house

Would she bark when she gets a cattle prod/tazer in the head?

Hahahahahaha! Right on! The dog gives you time to grab the shot gun. Then it is over.

mate i wouldnt want to be near my abd if she doesnt like you. or you break into her domain .she really is a force to be reckoned with. plus the fact she has the roam of the house and the snakes are almost in my bedroom. add on the back up of a jack russell and they wont be long running.

in singapore where my cousin lives, there is hardly any crime, because they know the consequences. makes you wonder who is right and who is wrong. my cousin also says women can walk to shops at any hour without having to worry.

Reminds me a man who amputated his bulldogs tail and as he did not want to do it too painfully, he cut the tail by little pieces...

But seriously, the thieves arent afraid of anything anymore, especially if they are under age and they think that nobody cant do anything to them....

Just saying you can have any dog you want, if a criminal wants your collection its not going to phase them.
they'll probably end up killing the dog (which isnt that hard to do)
or blinding it....

seriously, the house is alarmed, the dogs are wanderinhg around, we have a huge sort of metal bat thing under the bed, and i have an alarm thingy that fits on the snake room door. there are 4 oif us and two dogs, they cant shoot all of us, one of us will get there. my snakes are going nowhere unless its a run to the vets with me. and they know me well around the village, trust me, if i need back up its there.
i had to work hard \ for what i have, so they can go and bloody well work too.

we are planning an outside bungalow thing for the reps. one door in and out and alarmed. the heating, mats etc all alarmed. and i immediately thought 'oh i can buy two puppiestoo and they can live there'. but with motion sensors that cant happen.
