My partner Tris got attacked quite bad from our bulldog, He spent time in hospital and has had an infection in his arm, and doesn't have full movement so all is not good, he is now on antibiotics and sadly my dog had to get put to sleep because of this and i have been in a right state over it as he was my baby but he cant go on doing what he done when we have children, he was a fantastic dog but did have a bad streak bless him, and only really listened to me i just miss him so much!






Who else has had their own dogs turn on them?

I was attacked by my mums Afghan Hound as a baby. He grabbed me out of the pram by my head and run off with me. They think he was going to burry me as they found a big hole in the garden he had dug. I've still got the scars from his K9s on my fore head and throat, the ones on my throat are the most visible when i havn't shaved as they are Bald LMAO.

yeh very true, when we first got him and he bit my son he was instantly banned from being around the children a stair gate went up, he did bite a few times and have put it down to him having ear problems etc, but after he done that to tris that was the end of it, i miss him like crazy as he was my dog and obeyed me but at the end of the day that could of been the kids arms through the stair gate or anything!

it's horrible but you did the right thing putting him to sleep. You would never forgive yourself if it had been the kids as more damage could've been done. I would do and have done in past put a family pet down for biting, and she was the sweetest natured dog going but just snapped one day (was a prev rescue so who knows what she went through as know she had a rough time).

Not an easy decision I'm sure

yes its the same dog i was upset about and still am very hard decision but was for the best, no wont be getting another dog for a very long time!

not easy to get a pet pts but best choice in the end as you never know next time could be a small kid

my mate that had a rotty its was great until one day it wouldn't let his wife in the house, mate came home same thing he couldn't go near the front door either.. they had police and a vet out the had to put it to sleep thr the letter box,, before that it was a cracking dog just must of flipped that day
