two forum members have taken it upon themselves to: constantly harass me / threaten me / openly slate me, my ethics, and the way i run my collection
via both: visitor messages and pm's - seemingly, in a blatant attempt to ruin my reputation
the same thing is also happening on another forum - yes, i am being followed elsewhere!

one of the above has already been the cause of two seperate people becoming so disillusioned, that they have now completely left the hobby

harassment/threatening behavior

It seems to be the ugly unfortunate side of our hobby, I see it here all the time and have been a 'victim' of it to a lesser degree. You have to rise above it and not be drawn into a confrontation, of course this sounds easy but obviously isn't. I don't know the details and what history there is behind this, it can often be a case of jealousy or a deal gone wrong or sometimes someone just takes an irrational dislike to you. As I say though it is important not to get drawn into a public argument as it does more harm than good.
As far as attacks on a forum then it comes down to the admin of the forum concerned to nip it in the bud.
I am talking in general terms here as like I said I don't know the facts behind this specific case but unfortunately this sort of cyber bullying is becoming more common.
