I went to a falconry experience for my birthday present today!

Barn owl:




Hooded vulture:






Bengal eagle owl:






We got to watch the peregrine display!





Harris hawk:




And finally the Chilean blue eagle:





The experience was at The Hawking Centre. It was literally one of the best animal experiences I've had, and definitely something I'd recommend to anyone! Oh, and the keeper also had a royal, so there was plenty of reptile talk too

Brill pics, we have done a similar thing where we spent half the day flying various birds, went on a walk and learnt more about the hunting and keeping of them. Its great fun! Love the blue eagle!

Thanks, my brother took all the pics for me, I love the one of the vulture swooping in. That sounds really good, it's a great experience! Their hunting is something that I think I'd never get bored of watching, they're amazing animals! She was so great to fly, and so stunning!

Yeah, it was really good!

It's tomorrow, but I really don't want anything for it mate! Tbh, I kind of forgot about it until recently!

Thanks, it was really great! The company said they were pretty rare, it took them around 3 years to track one down I think, and even then it had to be imported from Holland! I'd really like to get into falconry, I'm really hooked now and only been once!
