My OH has always wanted to "meet" a penguin, we got the chance at SeaWorld recently and met a King Penguin....called "Stephen" He was a real character, having been hand reared he was used to people and very curious..

It was excellent! The penguin wouldn't go back into the enclosure when it was time, he had to be pushed in and he was digging his "heels" in trying to resist. Sam loved it....

her tattoo is huge btw, from her shoulder, down her side to just below her knee.

It was a big bird..although the Emperor penguins stand about a foot taller than the Kings.....We got to go inside the exhibit too, bloody noisy and smelled of fish! The chick looked to me like a Kiwi on steroids!!
