Up for sale is my excellent 60mm macro.Only reason I am selling is I have just brought a 50mm 1.8 which tbh will get more use than this.I seldom do macro anymore so it just stays in the bag.It is a very very sharp lens with fast AF.You only have to read the reviews to know how good this is!
Its in fantastic condition with no marks I can see and comes boxed with soft pouch,hood and both nikon end caps. Price is firm at £290 plus p&p by RMSD. Bank transfer only or cash on collection

40mm is too short imo for macro next to no working distance. Go on you know you want to

That's what my thinking was until I seen slipperys photos recently. Give me a couple of days to think about it and I'll get back to you, if it isn't sold before then that is.

40mm is nice sharp lens but to get 1:1 macro your only an inch or two away from your subject.You can use any lens and crop it in but you will lose quality.
I have a 35mm 1.8 so see no need for a 40 mm when that focuses to within a foot anyway and is faster.The 60mm afs version is one of nikons best macros..
