Just wondered what B+W software you use? Silver efex? I normally just use phototools or photoshop/lightroom for mine.

Anyway... Love the second! You went to town with it, and works for me :)

thats my fav as well, Jonnie

I actually use both techniques, i use Silver effex and when that doesn't give me what i want I do it the long way using the black and white sliders in photoshop. i use adjustment layers so i can work on a little bit at a time.
but there isnt a hard and fast thing that i do as each image is individually processed,,, with a variety of techniques and tools including silver effec, lucis art, tiffen filters .
