Never realised it was Garrick you were talking about. Was talking to him at Daytona a while back. I'll go watch the clip

what a shame for the crested geckos .

stuck in a tub that seems too short with little to climb on and in a tub that has looks like minimum light will get through .

i understand that breeders need to maximize their space but surely not at the expense of the animal not getting its needs .

i have heard of folk in America using dry cgd . i have no idea if it upsets the balance or not but it seems to work for some

I think we'll try some dry as well as some CGD with water and see what happens, everyone likes a choice, hey?
As for the space, thats breeders, but the condition of the animals looked great.

Our cresties will always be pets first with breeding on the side.

I tried some dry cgd last night, the adults completely ignored it, but it looks like the hatchlings have had a lick, ill try again for a few more night and see if i see any advantage.
The only thing i can see at the moment is that it saves some time.

I tried dry CGD over the last few days and 90% was eaten over night.

The advantage of feeding dry is that you don't get the food spoiling or attracting fruit flies.

I'm really excited by this and will give it a good trial over the next few months.

I can't think of any problems associated with feeding dry food other than they will obviously require more water to drink.
