Default Colubrid of the year - entries here.

In a similar vein to the thread on the ball python forum -

This is to help promote the amazing range of colubrid species and mutations that are available, plus those that will be 'firsts' this season.

This is open to ANYONE who has hatched any colubrid that they are proud of - doesn't have to be a rare morph or species, just an excellent example of a stunning snake.

Post your entries in this thread, stating the date you hatched the snake, exactly what it is and your location, i.e. UK, USA, Canada, Germany etc.

Towards the end of the hatching season we will announce the closing date (as yet undecided), and Bryan Barzak of BHB reptiles will then help us choose a shortlist, with forum members voting to decide the winner.

You may enter as many times as you like - but only one photo per morph, per species.

Looking forward to seeing what we have!

I'm maybe jumping the gun here cos i've got mopre clutches but for an albino I love this one!
T-Albino Cape House Snake, Female. You will be aware Toyah, i'm from the UK.
Hatched on: 08/06/09

The photo isn't fantastic, but the snake is a cracker! (if i do say so myself)

How about Normals, are they allowed to be included? I should have some funky normals in a few months.

Of course - a good example of a normal is just as amazing a snake as a good example of any morph :)

Here's my first entry ... a pewter cornsnake. Not the most unusual morph, but in my view the perfectly black pewter eyes and the extreme diffusion make this snake a perfect example of his morph.

They are both goreous snakes!

I was considering breeding my corns this year but decided not to and they would all be normals anyway.
